
Maruti Suzuki has officially confirmed the launch of its first electric SUV, the Maruti e Vitara. After months of speculation, the company will finally reveal its price on December 2, 2025.
This marks Maruti’s entry into India’s fast-growing electric vehicle market.
Production and Availability
The e Vitara is already being produced at Maruti’s Gujarat plant. The first 6,000 units have been exported to Europe and the UK.
In India, the SUV will be available in:

The e Vitara will come with two battery options:
- 48.8 kWh battery
- 61.1 kWh battery
Both versions will use a front-wheel-drive, single motor setup.

- Fast charging: 0 to 80% in 50 minutes
