Tata Motors has officially dropped the first teaser for the highly anticipated all-new Tata Sierra, confirming its production-ready reveal on 25 November 2025. This marks the return of one of India’s most iconic SUVs, revived in a modern avatar with advanced powertrains and futuristic styling, while still paying homage to the beloved original Sierra from the 1990s.

Bold New Design, Iconic Sierra DNA
The teaser showcases the Sierra finished in its striking signature yellow exterior. Though short, the video highlights several defining elements:
- Connected LED DRLs
- Textured grille pattern
- Sierra lettering on both front and rear
- Low-mounted LED headlamps integrated into the bumper
- Full-width LED tail-light bar
- Gloss-black cladding
- Flush door handles
- Dual-tone alloy wheels
Staying true to its heritage, the SUV retains the Sierra’s trademark upright stance, the iconic large rear window, and distinctive rear-quarter glass panels, blending nostalgic design with premium contemporary styling.
Interior & Features: Coming Soon
While Tata hasn’t revealed the cabin yet, upcoming teasers are expected to provide a full look at the interior. Industry sources anticipate:
- All-new digital cockpit layout
- Premium upholstery and soft-touch surfaces
- Advanced connected tech and infotainment
- Panoramic sunroof
- ADAS safety features

Sierra ICE First, EV Later
In a strategic shift, Tata Motors will first introduce the ICE (internal-combustion engine) Sierra, followed by the electric Sierra later.
The ICE variant is expected to debut Tata’s new 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine, marking a major step forward in the brand’s powertrain upgrades.
A Legend Returns
The original Tata Sierra was one of India’s first lifestyle SUVs, admired for its bold styling and three-door design. The 2025 Sierra aims to revive that legacy and take on modern rivals in the premium SUV segment — with both petrol and electric powertrains.
More details, including interior layout, features, and official specifications, are expected in the coming weeks as we build up to the big debut
