Select Tata dealerships have begun accepting unofficial bookings for the all-new Tata Sierra, with the token amount set at ₹11,000. The reborn SUV is scheduled to be launched on 25 November and will be offered with petrol, diesel, and EV powertrains.
Production-Ready Sierra Debuts
The production-spec Sierra was officially unveiled recently, although Tata Motors has held back most mechanical and feature details for now. Only exterior features and colour options were showcased at the reveal.
The ICE lineup will include a new petrol engine along with a diesel option, while the Sierra EV will sit at the top of the range with a larger battery and an extended driving range. Full specifications and variant-wise details are expected to be revealed on or just before the launch day.

Positioning and Rivals
In Tata’s SUV portfolio, the Sierra will be positioned between the Curvv and the Harrier. It will go up against established mid-size SUV rivals such as the:
- Hyundai Creta
- Kia Seltos
- Honda Elevate
- Mahindra XUV700
- Other similarly priced SUVs
Features and Interior Highlights
The Sierra is also the first Tata model to debut:
- A three-screen dashboard layout
- A redesigned centre console
- Dual-tone seat upholstery
- A large panoramic sunroof
- A premium audio system
These features are expected to give the Sierra a strong modern appeal in the highly competitive segment.
