Tata Motors has officially unveiled the all-new Tata Sierra, marking the iconic nameplate’s return after more than two decades. Discontinued in 2003, the Sierra is back as a modern midsize SUV set to rival the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Grand Vitara, Honda Elevate, and several others. Prices will be announced on November 25.
Bold, Boxy Exterior with Modern Touches
The 2025 Sierra embraces a clean, boxy silhouette blended with contemporary styling elements. Up front, a contrasting gloss-black panel integrates:
- Connected LED DRLs
- Projector LED headlamps
- New Tata logo
A rugged bumper with gloss-black elements, a faux silver skid plate, and pixel-shaped LED fog lamps complete the sharp front-end design.

Side Profile Highlights
The Sierra features:
- Flush door handles
- Black section between B- and C-pillars that recreates the “Sierra glasshouse” effect
- 19-inch alloy wheels
- Black cladding on arches and doors
- Black ORVMs and roof rails
These touches give the SUV a bold, upright, and unmistakably modern presence.
Rear Design
At the back, the Sierra sports:

- Gloss-black bumper touches
- Faux silver skid plate mirroring the front

Feature-Packed Cabin with Triple-Screen Layout
The interior introduces three dashboard-mounted screens—a driver display and two infotainment screens with synced content capability. The SUV borrows Tata’s new four-spoke steering wheel from the Curvv, complete with an illuminated Tata logo and touch controls.
Other cabin highlights include:
- Black–grey colour theme
- Expansive panoramic sunroof stretching to the C-pillar
- Five-seat layout with dual-tone beige and grey upholstery
- Adjustable headrests and 3-point seatbelts for all passengers
Feature List
The Sierra comes equipped with:
- Dual-zone automatic climate control
- Powered & ventilated front seats
- Wireless charging
- Rear sunshades
- Electronic parking brake
- 360-degree camera
- Level-2 ADAS suite

New Engine Options for the Sierra
The all-new Sierra debuts two new 1.5-litre petrol engines from Tata:
1.5-litre turbo-petrol (new flagship)
- ~170hp / 280Nm
- Manual and automatic options
- Also debuting in Harrier and Safari on Dec 9
1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol
- More affordable alternative
- Helps Tata offer aggressive entry pricing
1.5-litre diesel
- Shared with the Curvv and Nexon

This diverse powertrain lineup positions the Sierra well across multiple price points.
