Kia has officially taken the wraps off the second-generation Kia Seltos in India, ahead of its market launch in early 2026. The popular mid-size SUV enters a brand-new generation with a comprehensive redesign, more features, a larger footprint, and upgraded technology. Bookings begin on 10 December, while prices will be revealed on 2 January 2026.
The new model will be available across HTE, HTK, HTX, GT-Line, and X-Line trims, and will continue to feature three engine options, including naturally aspirated, turbo-petrol, and diesel choices.
Exterior Design: Sharper, Larger, More Modern
The 2026 Seltos adopts Kia’s latest global design language, featuring:
- A new Tiger Nose grille with a more upright stance
- Redesigned bumper with wider intakes and a sleeker front profile
- Pop-out flush door handles, marking a major technological upgrade
- Aero-focused alloy wheels inspired by the Carens and Carens Clavis EV
- A connected vertical LED tail-lamp signature that completely refreshes the rear identity
- Increased body dimensions with a stronger SUV posture
Notably, the Seltos now measures 4.46 metres in length (up from 4.36m), giving it one of the largest road presences in its segment.
Interior: A Major Step-Up in Design & Comfort
Inside, the new Seltos has undergone a substantial transformation. Borrowing inspiration from the Carens Clavis, it now features:
- A dual 12.3-inch display setup (infotainment + digital cluster)
- Newly designed three-spoke steering wheel
- Redesigned centre console with added storage
- Premium colour themes borrowed from Kia’s latest cabins
- Panoramic sunroof, a first for the Seltos
- 447-litre boot with a powered tailgate
- More spacious second row with 60:40 split and recline function
The increased 2,690mm wheelbase (up by 80mm) directly improves legroom and cabin comfort.

Kia is known for packing its SUVs with high-value features. The new Seltos continues this tradition with:
Tech & Convenience
- Bose premium sound system
- Dual-zone climate control

This positions the Seltos as one of the most feature-rich SUVs in its class.
