XUV 3XO’s Current Market Position

In the ongoing fiscal year, the XUV 3XO has slipped two positions to become Mahindra’s fourth highest-selling SUV, ranking behind:

  • Scorpio N + Scorpio Classic (102,514 units)
  • Thar + Thar Roxx (71,351 units)
  • Bolero (57,512 units)

After seven months of FY2026, the XUV 3XO contributes 15% to Mahindra’s total SUV sales—lower than the 20% share in the same period last year.

Outlook for the XUV 3XO

The XUV 3XO competes with top-selling compact SUVs such as the Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza, and Hyundai Venue. It remains to be seen whether Mahindra can maintain the festive-season momentum, boosted by revised GST benefits, throughout the rest of the fiscal year.
