Mahindra has dropped yet another teaser for the upcoming XEV 9S, confirming that the electric SUV will offer rear entertainment screens—a feature that immediately positions it as one of the most premium models in its segment. These screens are expected to be reserved for the top-end variants and will likely run the same UI and operating system as the front displays, giving second-row passengers access to media, navigation mirroring, connected apps, and more.
Premium Cabin Loaded With Tech
Recent teasers have steadily revealed the XEV 9S as Mahindra’s most feature-rich EV to date. The SUV will come with:
- Harman Kardon premium audio system
- Panoramic sunroof spanning almost the full length of the cabin
- Ambient lighting across the dashboard and doors
- Black interior theme with a modern, tech-forward layout
- A total of five screens (front and rear combined), one of the highest screen counts in the segment
The front dashboard houses a triple-screen setup, while the rear gets dual displays, ensuring a fully digital, lounge-like experience for all occupants.

Spacious Boot and Frunk
Mahindra has also showcased the luggage areas of the XEV 9S. The teasers highlight:
- A large, deep frunk for extra storage
- A wide and well-shaped boot, expected to be among the most spacious in its class
These additions further underline that Mahindra is positioning the XEV 9S not just as a tech-laden EV, but also as a practical three-row electric SUV.

The Mahindra XEV 9S will make its India debut on 27 November, and full specifications—including battery pack details, power figures, and variant-wise features—are expected to be revealed at the event.
