Mahindra has officially teased its upcoming premium electric SUV, the XEV 9S, setting the stage for its global unveiling on 27 November 2025. This new model will serve as the flagship offering under the company’s Born Electric (BE) lineup, and will be positioned as a luxurious three-row, seven-seater EV—a segment where Mahindra aims to set new benchmarks.
Bold Exterior & Futuristic Design
The teaser reveals a striking exterior with a wide LED light bar dominating the front end, giving the XEV 9S a sharp and futuristic appearance. The SUV carries a long wheelbase and strong, muscular stance, clearly hinting at its spacious 3-row configuration. Mahindra’s signature illuminated Twin Peaks logo and distinctive LED DRL signature further enhance its premium road presence.
A panoramic sunroof/moonroof is also visible, suggesting an airy cabin with a focus on luxury and openness.

The XEV 9S is expected to be based on Mahindra’s next-gen INGLO modular EV platform, which supports:
