Mahindra has revealed a fresh teaser showcasing the interior of its upcoming flagship electric SUV, the XEV 9S, ahead of its global debut later this month. The teaser highlights several premium design elements and advanced cabin technology, hinting at the brand’s focus on luxury and innovation in its next-gen EV lineup.
Sleek and Premium Cabin Design
The teaser video gives a glimpse of a two-spoke steering wheel with white stitching, adding a refined touch to the cabin’s aesthetics. The black seats with silver inserts exude a premium vibe, while the redesigned gear selector dial adds a futuristic element to the central console.
Advanced Seating and Space Flexibility
A key highlight is the sliding second-row seats, which can be adjusted for enhanced comfort and flexibility — ideal for long drives or maximizing third-row space. The teaser also reveals roof-mounted cabin lamps, indicating Mahindra’s attention to detail and comfort in all seating areas.
Tri-Cluster Display and Next-Gen Tech
One of the standout features is the tri-screen display setup, extending across the dashboard — similar to the one seen in the XEV 9E. This layout combines the digital instrument cluster, infotainment display, and passenger display into one seamless panel, emphasizing Mahindra’s tech-forward design philosophy.
Powertrain and Platform Details
Under the skin, the XEV 9S will be built on Mahindra’s INGLO modular skateboard platform, known for its lightweight structure and versatility. The SUV is expected to feature a powerful electric motor delivering up to 282bhp and 380Nm, paired with an LFP battery, likely sourced from BYD’s Blade series for improved safety and durability.
Global Debut at ‘Scream Electric’ Event
The Mahindra XEV 9S will be fully unveiled at the ‘Scream Electric’ event scheduled for 26–27 November 2025. As Mahindra’s most premium seven-seater electric SUV to date, the model will mark a significant step forward in the brand’s Born Electric strategy, combining innovation, performance, and sophistication in a single package.
