Kia India has wrapped up November 2025 on a strong note, recording impressive year-on-year growth despite a slight slowdown from October’s festive-season peak. With the brand preparing for the highly anticipated debut of the next-generation Seltos, its core strength this month has come from the popular Sonet—Kia’s best-selling model and the SUV that continues to anchor its performance in the competitive sub-4m segment.
In November 2025, Kia India achieved total domestic sales of 25,489 units. This marks a robust 23.73 percent year-on-year surge compared to the 20,600 units sold in the same month last year, translating to an increase of 4,889 units. Much of this growth is being propelled by the persistent impact of GST 2.0 price adjustments, which have made several mainstream models more accessible and boosted demand across the board.
On the month-on-month front, however, sales understandably dipped after the festival-driven momentum in October 2025. The brand had delivered 29,556 units that month, and the slide to 25,489 units in November resulted in a 13.76 percent decline, or a volume drop of 4,067 units. This sequential dip is in line with typical post-festive market behaviour and does not overshadow Kia’s strong annual performance.
Year-to-date, Kia’s tally stands at 2,61,627 units, reflecting a healthy 10.84 percent increase over the 2,36,043 units recorded during the same period last year. Exports also remain a sizeable contributor, with 25,279 units shipped from India to international markets. Combined, Kia India’s total YTD sales—including exports—have reached 2,86,906 units.
The Sonet continues to shine as the brand’s undisputed volume driver. Its sharp, rugged design and well-rounded package appeal strongly to younger buyers and urban customers. In November, the Sonet alone posted a remarkable 30 percent YoY growth, reaffirming its position as one of India’s most successful subcompact SUVs.
All eyes are now on the upcoming next-generation Kia Seltos, slated for its India debut on December 10, 2025. The SUV has undergone a significant design overhaul that brings it in line with Kia’s new global design DNA. Interior upgrades are expected to be substantial as well, further strengthening the model’s leadership in the mid-size SUV segment. The launch is expected to create additional momentum for the brand heading into 2026.
