Jeep India is charting an ambitious course for the coming years with its Strategic Plan Jeep 2.0, aiming to strengthen its lineup, enhance customer experiences, and expand its presence both domestically and globally. As part of this roadmap, the brand is set to introduce an all-new SUV in 2027, marking its first entirely new model in five years. In the meantime, Jeep plans to launch special editions of its current models, offering enthusiasts fresh options while maintaining excitement around the brand.
Beyond India, the company has set its sights on global markets. Models produced at Jeep’s Ranjangaon facility in Maharashtra will be exported to regions including Africa, North America, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand. This makes India the first country outside North America to both manufacture and export Jeep vehicles to right-hand-drive markets.
To make its operations more efficient and cost-effective, Jeep plans to increase localisation from the current 65-70% to 90%, ensuring more components are sourced within India. At the same time, the brand is focused on enhancing the ownership experience, introducing pre-maintenance services, extended warranties, and premium loyalty and customer care programs to strengthen relationships with existing owners.
Currently, Jeep India offers the Compass, Meridian, Wrangler, and Grand Cherokee, but the Strategic Plan 2.0 shows a clear focus on expanding product offerings while keeping customer satisfaction at the forefront. Stellantis India CEO and MD, Shailesh Hazela, said, “Jeep’s 85-year legacy is built on authenticity and adventure. Strategic Plan Jeep 2.0 sharpens our product strategy and strengthens the customer experience year after year.”
With a combination of new models, global export ambitions, increased localisation, and enhanced after-sales care, Jeep India is not just preparing for the future—it is ensuring that it remains a brand of pride, adventure, and desirability in the Indian market and beyond.
