Bentley EV platform details have officially been revealed, marking a major step in the brand’s electric transformation. The luxury carmaker’s first EV will launch globally by the end of 2026 and promises cutting-edge performance with rapid charging capabilities and a premium design focus.
Charging and Performance
The Bentley EV platform will support industry-leading charging speeds of up to 300kW, capable of delivering 100 miles (161km) of range in just seven minutes. This positions Bentley’s debut EV among the fastest-charging electric SUVs in the world, just behind the 350kW Lotus Eletre.

Design and Platform Details
Built on an offshoot of the PPE (Premium Platform Electric) architecture co-developed by Audi and Porsche, the upcoming Bentley EV will measure under five metres in length. It’s expected to share components with the Porsche Cayenne Electric, including a 108kWh battery pack and dual-motor setup.
Launch Timeline and Hybrid Future
The Bentley EV will launch globally towards the end of 2026, with deliveries beginning in 2027. Meanwhile, Bentley confirmed that its plug-in hybrid models like the Continental GT and Flying Spur will remain available until at least 2035 as part of a gradual shift to full electrification.
