Jeep has officially unveiled the Recon, its first all-electric off-roader and the brand’s third EV globally after the Avenger and Wagoneer S. First showcased during Jeep 4xe Day in 2022, the production-spec Recon is now ready and will go on sale internationally in 2026. Jeep has revealed full details for the rugged Moab trim, which will be sold exclusively in the United States and Canada.

Muscular, Rugged Design with Trademark Jeep DNA

The 2026 Recon embraces bold, squared-off proportions reminiscent of Jeep’s hardcore off-roaders.

Front Design

The SUV features:

  • Illuminated 7-slat Jeep EV grille
  • Squarish headlamps with U-shaped LED DRLs
  • A chunky skid plate with a central air intake
  • Fog lamps and integrated tow hooks
  • A Moab-specific anti-glare bonnet graphic

Removable Panels

Staying true to Jeep’s adventure-focused ethos, the:

  • Rear quarter glass
  • Rear windshield
    can all be removed without tools, offering an open-air driving experience similar to the Wrangler.

The Recon is built on Stellantis’ STLA Large platform, shared with the Wagoneer S.
