Hyundai has revealed that 70% of bookings for the newly launched Venue come from its petrol-powered variants, highlighting a strong shift toward petrol options in the compact SUV segment.
The new-generation Hyundai Venue, launched in India on 4 November, marks the model’s biggest update since its 2019 debut. Prices start at ₹7.90 lakh for the standard variant and go up to ₹10.55 lakh for the sportier N Line trims.

The updated Venue is also Hyundai’s first software-defined vehicle (SDV) in India, bringing over-the-air (OTA) updates, Level 2 ADAS, and dual 12.3-inch displays for infotainment and instrumentation. The new platform and powertrain options aim to improve performance and efficiency while offering more connected-car features.
With this update, the Venue takes on strong rivals such as the Kia Sonet, Kia Syros, Maruti Fronx, Toyota Taisor, Maruti Brezza, Mahindra XUV 3XO, and Skoda Kylaq in the highly competitive compact SUV space.
