The 2025 Nissan Dune Patrol Concept has been unveiled ahead of the SEMA Show in Las Vegas, offering a bold glimpse into the future of Nissan’s off-road design and engineering capabilities. Developed as a showcase for the Nissan Patrol’s legendary durability and versatility, the concept highlights how far the brand’s iconic SUV platform can be pushed in extreme terrain.
Designed and engineered in collaboration with NISMO, Nissan’s in-house performance division, the Dune Patrol Concept sports a range of prototype off-road-focused NISMO accessories. It features a heavily reworked suspension system, providing enhanced ground clearance and articulation for serious off-roading. The wider body panels and flared fenders emphasize its aggressive stance, while beadlock-style off-road wheels, chunky all-terrain tires, and reinforced underbody protection underline its desert-ready toughness.
The concept also incorporates heavy-duty recovery gear, an off-road lighting system, and a roof rack-mounted utility setup, ensuring it’s prepared for adventure in the harshest conditions. Inside, the Dune Patrol Concept continues the rugged theme with durable performance materials and prototype NISMO cabin enhancements that combine comfort with off-road practicality.
While Nissan has confirmed that the Dune Patrol Concept will not enter production, it serves as a technology and design preview for upcoming NISMO-branded off-road accessories and upgrades that could be made available on future Patrol and Nissan SUV models.
