2025 Mahindra XEV 9S Interior Teased — Premium Cabin, Sliding Second-row Seats, Panoramic Sunroof & More

Mahindra has released a new teaser giving a clear look inside its upcoming flagship electric SUV — the XEV 9S. This first detailed interior glimpse comes ahead of the EV’s official global reveal later this month, and it confirms Mahindra’s push toward a more luxurious, tech-centric future for its electric lineup.

High-End Cabin With Sophisticated Styling

The teaser showcases a refined interior theme featuring:

  • A two-spoke steering wheel wrapped in premium material with contrast stitching
  • Plush dual-tone upholstery with metallic accents
  • A futuristic rotary drive selector on the center console

The overall layout feels upscale and minimalistic, aiming to deliver a blend of modern luxury and user-friendly ergonomics.

Segment-Leading Sliding Second-Row Seats

Mahindra appears to be focusing heavily on comfort and practicality. The teaser confirms:

  • Sliding second-row seats for flexible legroom and three-row usability
  • Roof-mounted ambient cabin lights, enhancing illumination for rear passengers

Such adjustments are typically seen in luxury MPVs and high-end SUVs, making this a standout feature in the electric SUV space.

Immersive Triple-Display Dashboard

A major highlight is the seamless three-screen panel stretching across the dashboard, most likely including:

  • A fully-digital driver display
  • A central infotainment system
  • A dedicated screen for the front passenger

This wide digital cluster creates a high-tech cockpit similar to what we see in premium global EVs — signaling Mahindra’s aim to step into luxury-EV territory.

Powertrain & Platform Expectations

Built on the brand’s advanced INGLO skateboard platform, the XEV 9S is expected to arrive with:

  • Up to 282 bhp & 380 Nm of torque
  • LFP battery pack, widely believed to be from BYD’s Blade battery lineup
  • Enhanced safety, structural rigidity, and long-range capabilities

The INGLO platform is designed for performance-oriented EVs, flexible battery configurations, and future-ready tech.

Global Premiere Date

Mahindra will showcase the XEV 9S at its ‘Scream Electric’ global event on November 26–27, 2025. The SUV will serve as the brand’s most premium three-row EV to date — combining advanced features, futuristic design, and electric performance.
