Mini India has launched the new-generation Cooper Convertible, priced at Rs. 58.50 lakh (ex-showroom). Arriving as a CBU import, the model is now open for bookings across dealerships, with deliveries starting immediately. The Convertible sits Rs. 14.80 lakh above the standard Cooper S and Rs. 4.1 lakh higher than the JCW variant.
Design & Exterior Highlights
The latest Cooper Convertible retains Mini’s iconic silhouette but features refreshed styling touches. The updated front fascia gets new round LED headlamps with multiple lighting signatures and a redesigned grille. At the rear, the car adopts vertically stacked, flush-surface LED tail lamps, adding a modern twist to the classic design.
Customers can choose from four exterior colours:
- British Racing Green
- Chili Red
- Sunny Side Yellow
- Ocean Wave Green
Additionally, Black or White mirror caps are available. The Convertible rides on 18-inch two-tone aerodynamic alloy wheels.
Convertible Roof & Practicality
A key highlight is the electrically operated fabric roof, which:
- Opens in 18 seconds
- Closes in 15 seconds
- Operates at speeds of up to 30kmph
- Partially opens to function like a sunroof
Boot space is rated at 215 litres (roof closed) and 160 litres (roof open).

Inside, the Convertible adopts Mini’s new minimalist design theme, centred around a round OLED display that doubles as the instrument cluster and infotainment system. It runs BMW OS 9, offering:
