BMW India has expanded the iX1 Long Wheelbase lineup by introducing a new exterior paint shade along with additional vegan leather upholstery choices. The updated model is now available for bookings across BMW dealerships nationwide.
New Exterior Colour Added
The latest addition to the iX1 LWB’s colour palette is Night Dusk Blue, a deep metallic shade. With this update, the EV is now offered in four exterior colours:
- Night Dusk Blue (new)
- Carbon Black
- Mineral White
- Skyscraper Grey
New Interior Upholstery Choices
BMW has also introduced two new Veganza vegan leather upholstery themes:
- Smoke White + Atlas Grey (dual-tone)
- Castanea
Both feature a premium 3D stitching pattern and use sustainable, ethically sourced materials. BMW’s signature cocooning effect extends the upholstery theme across the seats, dashboard, door trims, and even the speaker mesh.
Recent Feature Enhancements
The brand has been refining the iX1 LWB based on customer feedback. Earlier updates included the addition of a 360-degree camera, and the latest refresh expands customisation options through new paint and upholstery choices.
Powertrain & Range
The iX1 Long Wheelbase is powered by BMW’s 5th-generation eDrive system, producing 204bhp and 250Nm, paired with a 66.4kWh battery pack. The electric SUV offers a claimed range of up to 531km (MIDC).
At 4,616mm in length and with a 2,800mm wheelbase, it remains one of the largest five-seat luxury electric SUVs currently on sale in India.
