MG Motor India has wrapped up November 2025 with a slight dip in overall sales performance. The company recorded 5,754 units across its ICE and EV portfolio, falling short of the numbers achieved in both November 2024 and October 2025. Despite the decline, MG continues to command a strong presence in the EV space, especially with the remarkable market reception of the Windsor EV.
The brand’s current lineup spans multiple segments. In the mainstream EV category, MG offers the Windsor EV, Comet EV and the ZS EV, all of which have strengthened the company’s standing as a key electric vehicle manufacturer in India. On the ICE front, products like the Astor, Hector and Gloster contribute to consistent sales, complemented by the premium MG Select lineup which includes the high-performance Cyberster electric roadster and the luxurious M9 MPV.
The YoY performance shows a 4.40 percent dip compared to the 6,019 units sold in November last year. This equates to a decline of 265 units. The brand attributes this drop in part to the GST 2.0 reforms, which introduced tax benefits for ICE vehicles but excluded EVs, slightly impacting electric vehicle momentum. Month-on-month numbers also reflect a downward trend, with a 10.05 percent reduction from the 6,397 units sold in October 2025, resulting in a volume decline of 643 units.

Even with the monthly slump, MG Motor India reports a robust 32 percent YTD wholesale growth for January–November 2025 when compared to the same period last year. A key contributor to this growth is the MG Select luxury portfolio, which has crossed the significant 1,000-unit sales milestone. Models like the Cyberster and M9 have played an instrumental role in positioning MG as a serious contender in India’s emerging luxury EV segment. It is worth noting that the reported figures represent wholesale numbers.
Looking ahead, MG is preparing to refresh its product portfolio further. The company is actively testing the facelifted Hector SUV, spotted with camouflage covering its redesigned front and rear bumpers. Interior enhancements are also expected as MG aims to make the Hector more feature-rich to stay competitive. The updated Hector is anticipated to launch by mid-December 2025. In addition, MG has showcased the Majestor SUV, set to become the brand’s flagship ICE SUV upon launch.
