Skoda India Records 90% YoY Growth in November 2025, Crosses 5 Lakh Units Milestone

December 2, 2025

Skoda Auto India has wrapped up November 2025 with one of its most impressive sales performances ever, marking what can only be described as a celebratory moment for the brand. The company nearly doubled its year-on-year sales compared to November 2024—a clear indicator of the momentum Skoda has built through its refreshed product strategy and expanded customer outreach.

During November 2025, Skoda sold a total of 5,491 units, spanning models such as the Kylaq, Slavia, Kushaq, Kodiaq and the limited-run Octavia RS. This figure reflects a massive 90 percent growth over the 2,886 units sold in the same month last year. The volume increase of 2,605 units showcases how strongly the brand has bounced back, especially in an increasingly competitive market landscape.

A significant portion of this success stems from the Kylaq, Skoda’s premium B-segment SUV introduced under the INDIA 2.5 strategy. The Kylaq has quickly emerged as the company’s strongest growth contributor, helped considerably by the benefits of GST 2.0 reforms. The resulting price corrections have made the Kylaq even more appealing, especially when combined with its spirited 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine and value-packed positioning. Early consumer response indicates that the Kylaq has struck the right balance between performance and affordability, helping Skoda gain renewed traction in the SUV-dominated market.

Meanwhile, Skoda continues to maintain a balanced portfolio across segments. The Kushaq and Slavia, both developed under the INDIA 2.0 program, remain steady performers and are expected to undergo facelifts soon, with at least one refreshed model reportedly arriving this month. In the premium SUV category, the Kodiaq continues to be assembled in India via the CKD route, catering to customers looking for a sophisticated and feature-rich three-row SUV. On the enthusiast side, the recently launched 2025 Octavia RS created significant buzz—its 100 CBU units allocated for India sold out in just 20 minutes, showcasing the strong desirability the RS badge continues to command.

Beyond monthly figures, November brought with it a major milestone for Skoda Auto India. While celebrating its 25th anniversary in the country, the brand officially surpassed the 5 lakh cumulative sales mark. This accomplishment highlights consistent growth over the past two and a half decades, with Skoda crossing numerous monthly, quarterly and annual benchmarks along the way. The milestone stands as proof of the brand’s growing relevance and expanding customer base in India.

Ashish Gupta, Brand Director of Škoda Auto India, attributed this growth to the brand’s expanding dealer network, competitive ownership costs and a robust product portfolio that resonates with diverse buyer preferences. He emphasized that Skoda intends to maintain this momentum by further strengthening its customer outreach and continuing to deliver products that align with evolving market expectations.

With facelifts on the horizon and the Kylaq continuing to accelerate sales, Skoda heads into the end of 2025 on a strong footing, poised for an even more impactful 2026.
