Mahindra has introduced a special edition of its BE 6 electric SUV, called the Formula E Edition, with prices starting at ₹23.69 lakh (ex-showroom). Offered in two variants—FE2 and FE3—this limited-run model comes with exclusive cosmetic enhancements, sportier styling touches and a distinctive motorsport-inspired identity. Only 999 units will be available, making it one of Mahindra’s most exclusive EV offerings to date.
While the cosmetic and interior upgrades of the Formula E Edition have already been showcased, Mahindra has now confirmed the major dates customers should track if they plan to bring one home. These dates outline the booking process, the order-building window and the commencement of deliveries, giving prospective buyers a clear roadmap to secure their unit.

The first important milestone arrives on 14 December 2025, when Mahindra will activate the ‘Add to Cart’ feature for the BE 6 Formula E Edition on its digital platforms. This early-access window allows buyers to configure their preferred variant and colour before formal bookings open. It also helps Mahindra gauge initial demand, which is especially crucial since this model is limited in production.
The second major date is 14 January 2026, when official bookings will begin. While Mahindra has not yet disclosed the exact booking amount or refund terms, this date marks the point at which enthusiasts can lock in their Formula E Edition unit. Considering the limited 999-unit allocation, early booking is likely to be essential.
The third key date is 14 February 2026, when customer deliveries are set to commence. Mahindra has not confirmed whether deliveries for both FE2 and FE3 variants will begin simultaneously or follow a phased schedule. The brand has previously staggered deliveries for electric models like the BE 6 and XEV 9e earlier in the year, so a phased rollout remains a possibility.
With the BE 6 Formula E Edition, Mahindra is tying together motorsport energy, premium EV technology and exclusivity. These timelines ensure that customers can plan well in advance and secure their place among the limited 999 units produced.
