November 29, 2025

The Honda Amaze has delivered an impressive performance in the latest Bharat NCAP crash tests. Tested in 2025, the compact sedan has secured a 5-star rating in Adult Occupant Protection (AOP) and a 4-star rating in Child Occupant Protection (COP). These results apply across the V, VX, and ZX variants, for both manual and CVT versions manufactured in India.

Adult Occupant Protection: Strong Structural Safety

The Amaze scored 28.33 out of 32, reflecting solid protection in both key evaluations:

  • Frontal Offset Test: 14.33 / 16
  • Side Impact Test: 14 / 16

The structure maintained stability, supported by safety features such as dual front airbags, curtain airbags, load limiters, belt pre-tensioners, and ESC. The tested model weighed 1,241 kg, confirming its compliance across all trims.

Child Occupant Protection: 4 Stars

With a total of 40.81 / 49, the Amaze also fared well in child safety:

  • Dynamic Test: 23.81 / 24
  • CRS Installation: 12 / 12
  • Vehicle Assessment: 5 / 13

ISOFIX mounting points and strong impact performance helped push the score higher.

Standard Safety Features Across All Variants

Honda equips the Amaze with essential safety technology right from the base variant, including:

  • ESC
  • Curtain airbags
  • Pedestrian protection features
  • Seatbelt reminders
  • Child seat anchor points

This uniform safety package contributed significantly to the high BNCAP rating.
